COMPONENTS · VERIFICATION · DOCUMENTATION
Test houses and quality for electronic, mechanical and electromechanical components.
EFFE-G uses external test houses to support customer-required checks and provide supplies with the agreed reports and documentation. We connect procurement requirements with the specialist partners appointed to perform testing.
Three areas, specific requirements
Electronic components
Active and passive components, current, obsolete and end-of-life. Requests start with the part number, manufacturer, batch, quantity and traceability and verification requirements.
AS6081 and AS6171 references are specified according to applicability, revision and the service requested.
Mechanical components
Components and made-to-drawing parts. Discussions require identification of the drawing revision, material, characteristics to be checked and acceptance criteria.
Inspection methods, sampling and documentation are defined with the appointed partner according to the specific request.
Electromechanical components
Components combining electrical and mechanical functions. Requirements must clarify identification, operating conditions, characteristics and requested checks.
The test house assesses testing feasibility and scope for the actual component.
How the service is organised
- Requirements identification. We collect part numbers or drawings, quantities, timelines, intended application and required documents.
- Defining the checks. The customer and test house clarify applicable standards and revisions, the samples or batches involved, the test plan and acceptance criteria.
- Technical and commercial discussion. Feasibility, scope, timelines, terms and documentation deliverables are agreed.
- Execution and documentation. The appointed test house performs the agreed checks and issues the relevant reports. EFFE-G provides the coordination defined in the engagement.
Test reports and conformity documentation
On request, supplies may include test reports and conformity documentation issued by the appointed test house. Each document must clearly identify the issuer, component and sample or batch, reference used, tests performed and reported results.
Any certificates or declarations are specified in the quotation, identifying the issuer and scope. Available documentation depends on the agreed service and the checks actually performed.
AS6081 and AS6171 for electronic components
AS6081 addresses the prevention and management of counterfeit-part risks in distribution; the AS6171 family addresses inspection and test methods for suspect or counterfeit electrical, electronic and electromechanical parts. The applicable reference and revision must be agreed for the project. These references do not automatically extend to every mechanical component or test.

Frequently asked questions
Who performs the tests and issues the reports?
The appointed test house. EFFE-G coordinates technical and commercial discussions and the service agreed with the customer.
Can I request checks on mechanical components too?
Yes. Requests are assessed against the drawing, material, characteristics to be checked and expected documentation. The appointed partner confirms testing feasibility and scope.
Is documentation included with every supply?
Report and document deliverables must be specified in the quotation and agreed before the service begins.
