Global sourcing & obsolescence management

PCB manufacturing & SMT / THT assembly
Prototypes, pre-series and production through specialist capabilities: PCB design and redesign, industrialisation, SMT and through-hole assembly, rework and testing. The scope is defined against drawings, the bill of materials, manufacturing files and acceptance criteria.

Independent test houses: USA, UK & Europe
For supplies requiring additional verification, we coordinate independent test houses in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. The inspection plan is agreed against the component, risk and customer specifications. Tests are performed by the appointed laboratories, which issue the relevant reports.
Visual inspection, marking verification, X-ray inspection and electrical testing are assessed case by case. AS6081 addresses counterfeit electronic parts risk management in distribution; the AS6171 family addresses test methods. Applicability, edition and test scope must be defined in the enquiry.
